Studio 888 was established by the artist Elizabeth Russ as studio/exhibit space for her own work and for local artists. The hope is to contribute to the growing vibrancy of the Queen St. east art scene.

My passion for Art began in her early years in Kiev, Ukraine where I was born and raised. I thus exposed to impressive work of old schoolmasters and contemporary European artists.

Established in 2016 by the curator couple Tanzina Amin and Carlos Rodrigues, Artusiasm has quickly become popular among local artists through exceptionally curated art exhibitions showcasing incredible and unique works of art. After over a year of curating exhibitions at various locations around Toronto, Artusiasm opened their own gallery downtown on March 24, 2017. The curators host regular art events throughout the year, bringing the general public closer to the wonderful world of art, while building friendships among the artists and art enthusiasts.

Canvas Gallery offers a regularly changing, extensive inventory of original artworks by more than 120 established and emerging artists from across Canada. Located in the historic Hamilton Gear Building since 2003, Canvas Gallery is a place for customers to make a personal statement in their home or office through the creativity of local and national working artists.

Gaya Kairos is an artist who lives and works in Toronto, Canada. Gaya obtained her BA in liberal arts from University of Moscow and upon immigrating to Canada on her own in her early 20’s took training as professional make-up artist at Sheridan College. After working for some time on TV, on advertising photo shoots and in a movie industry, Gaya started painting instinctively and impulsively, while going through some life changing events.

Arta Gallery is nestled in the heart of Toronto’s Historic Distillery District. This important cultural and artistic center in Toronto has been home to Arta since it was established in 2003. With an outstanding vision to promote art in our daily lives and make many talented artists accessible to the Toronto community, Arta Gallery offers an impressive collection of contemporary work by both Canadian and international artists.

Founded in 2005 in Toronto by Elaine Fleck the gallery represents contemporary Canadian and American artists. The Gallery offers a wide range of curated fine art including painting, photography and mixed media. The Gallery features monthly exhibitions and carries an inventory of selected works by gallery represented artists. The Elaine Fleck Gallery represented artists are selected based on their original and strongly developed themes displaying masterful and innovative technical expertise.

Abbozzo Gallery was established in 1993 to represent established and emerging Canadian artists. The gallery exhibits original paintings, prints, works on paper and sculpture in a warm and inviting setting in the art centre known as 401 Richmond in the heart of Toronto. Our knowledgeable and friendly staff invite you to inquire about the artists and their work. The gallery holds 4 - 6 solo exhibitions each year and holds themed or rotating group exhibitions at other times.

Corin Pinto is a painter and sculptor with a primary focus in encaustic art. Her paintings are recognized for their abstract impressionism and rich, vivacious colors. Her works are reflective of momentary glimpses of naturally occurring visual harmony found in nature. Corin’s idealistic interpretations offer a kind of inflection which evokes our sense of spirit in the natural world.
