Ross Bonfanti works mainly with found objects and manufactured materials from the urban landscape.
Ross Bonfanti, a graduate of Ontario College of Art and Design, was born in 1969, Toronto, Canada. He is an active member of the Toronto art scene as Co-founder of Propeller Centre for the Visual Arts (1996), Co-Director of AWOL Gallery and Studios (1999 to 2012) and Co-Director of C1 Art Space: art shop and school (2004 to 2010). His work is held in many private collections in Canada, USA, Europe and Asia as well as 21 C Museum Hotels, Louisville, Kentucky, USA, Boca Raton Museum of Art, Boca Raton, Florida, USA, Hirshhorn Museum, Smithsonian Institute, Washington DC, USA, Canada Council for the Arts, ArtBank, Ottawa, ON, Canada. His works are currently being exhibited and represented by various galleries in Canada, USA and the UK.
