Jennifer H Clark

Inspired by colour as a formative power, Jennifer H Clark is a painter who works from her straw bale studio in West Grey, Ontario. She is currently working in three streams. Oils on canvas/wood, mixed media paintings on paper and sculptural paintings. Her career began pursuing painting and philosophy at York University. Her interest in form and image then led to a degree in ceramics at the Ontario College of Art in Toronto. Scholarships to the Banff Centre for the Arts led to creating sculptural paintings in clay, paper and wood. From there she has been pursuing a love of teaching and working with art as a healing force as an adult educator.
Her work reflects an interest in the processes of metamorphosis and transformation which is shared with all living beings.
Jennifer's paintings are held in many private collections and she is currently seeking a gallery for representation .
