Genie Weinstein

Genie Weinstein started drawing at age 3 and had a book published commercially with her illustrations when she was still in her teens. Her experience includes several publishing credits and a tenure as an artist for digital children's titles. Her artwork can be found in a New Zealand travel guide by Lonely Planet and a collection of essays on J. R. R. Tolkien recently published in France. Although Genie works in a variety of media, she especially enjoys combining the unpredictability of watercolour with the precision of pen and ink to create illustrations that are fresh and playful, yet highly detailed.
