Ann Canal Boscariol
Ann Canal Boscariol is a graduate of the Ontario College of Art and Design (OCAD). She has worked as an interior designer accredited as a member of ARIDO (Association of Registered Interior Designers of Canada) for the last 25 years.
Ann's first solo exhibition was at the Women’s Art Association of Canada at 23 Prince Arthur Avenue in Toronto in October 2007 and was attended by three hundred people. Most of her paintings depict northern Canadian landscapes approached from an abstract perspective. One of her paintings was featured in the Muskoka Magazine in July 2006. Inspired by her travels by canoe in the Almagin Highlands and Algonquin Park, Ann uses large canvases to give the viewer a new and different perception of the enormity and panorama of the Canadian terrain.
Ann is a member of the Markham Group of Artists who exhibit twice a year at juried art shows at McKay Art Centre in Unionville.
